I am from Germany and It’s quite simple: In the 86 final Argentina was much better and was the best team of the tournament. In th 90 final Germany was much better (although the penalty was a dive but there was a clear penalty not given before). In the quarter final 2006 both teams were equal and Germany the luckier one ( Argentina would probably have won on a neutral place or in South America). In the quarter final 2010 Germany was better (due to the early goal which destroyed Argentinas plans.
